Porcelain VeneersVeneers are a conservative way of changing color, shape and length of teeth. They can also be used to “straighten” mildly rotated teeth. They require a minimal amount of tooth structure to be removed on the visible surfaces of anterior teeth to create an ideal appearance. Generally only 1mm or less in thickness, they are bonded to the prepared tooth securely. The ceramic is layered to build in all the varying optical qualities natural teeth have with respect to color, texture and translucency. Porcelain veneers are laboratory fabricated and involve two or three visits. They are color stable and long lasting. |
